What Estero does to a window
Estero sits far enough from the Gulf that salt is only a problem on the far west side, in Pelican Sound and West Bay Club along the Estero River and the bay. Everywhere else the glass is fighting water from the ground. Reclaimed irrigation in The Brooks, Grandezza, Stoneybrook and Bella Terra leaves hard white spots on the lower panes and pool-cage sliders, and the sprinklers run before dawn so the spots bake on in the morning sun.
East of I-75 along Corkscrew Road the issue is dust. Corkscrew Shores, The Place, Verdana Village and the communities still being built around them put a steady haze of construction powder into the air, and it settles on screens and sliders along with pine pollen in late winter. Homes backing onto a preserve get love bugs in May and September and mildew in the shade through the wet season.

After that, a quarterly maintenance plan runs $60, $77, or $100 a month for those same home sizes. Oceanfront and riverfront estates get a custom quote.
How often should windows be cleaned in Estero?
Quarterly keeps the reclaimed-water spots, pollen and lanai grime under control for nearly every Estero home. Pelican Sound, West Bay Club and homes along the Estero River do better every two months because of salt and river humidity. Most people have the inside glass done once a year.

Can you remove hard water spots from sprinklers?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from sprinkler overspray need a dedicated treatment rather than regular cleaning. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
